Connectivity Kit for Xbox 360

    I am having a hair pulling time trying to get the xbox360 and the pc to connect. I am using Xtreme bootmaker and when I type SAMREAD (serial number)and hit enter I get to drives but nothing related to the vt6421l card. Will the Connectivity Kit for Xbox 360 help me?
