I took my wii out of the box yesterday, it worked great for a few hours. Then it stopped working.So I turned it off and then back on again, put in the wii sports that came with it, and it has an error message, sayin to press the eject putton and remove the disc, turn off the power and follow the instructions in the console manual. Also, if I turn on the wii, with no disc in the console and I go to the mii channel, then click start, the screen goes black and stays that way, and I can't turn it off, I have to remove the power cord from it, this makes me think somethings wrong with the console and not a disc problem, anyone familiar with this issue, what's going on inside of it?
I had that problem, it was after a failed attempted to install my wiikey. It doesnt work now, but you didnt open up your wii right????
