I have a relative that just purchased a smartphone for the first time iphone and having issues with her contacts. She said when she receives a txt or call it'll show up a different name from which she has on her contact and not sure why!
I'd say, tell her to check whether the name that appears when she receives a text message exists in her contacts and whether this contact entry features the same contact number as the actual person whom it should appear. Also, check whether the two contact entries were for one reason or another linked on her iPhone.
