Sort of Ironic; the person who came onto these forums accusing ninteno/zelda of being "babies r us", and the "childish weeeee wee", would end up having a temper tantrum in this thread. ermac4444, don't take those mispelling insults to heart. If you take a look at some of nelson's first posts, he had trouble spelling "reality" and "franchise".

nelson, keep this up as will keep banning as many times as you want. also i just have to talk to site admin who will have a friendly talk with your isp & when that happens, you'll not be able to get on the net at all. that means you might just as well give your computer away as no use to you. your choice, either smarten up or loose your internet access. happy thinking!!
Anyway.. Motion sensing controllers wasn't it??. Does anybody remember the demo videos on the Windows 98 disk.(or was it the 95..no I'm pretty sure it was 98) I'm sure there was a demo of one working on a pc way back when. If and it's a big if..I can find my disk I'll rip the file and host it somewhere. I remember being impressed at the time.
microsoft and logitech had a motion sensing controller spin off of the traditional sidewinder controller in 1998. It didn't turn out very well. Was that what you're referring to?
All I remember was a short film on the 98 disk with some kid playing what looked like a pretty good flying game. If I can find the disk I'll check it out. But it was years ago.. Just goes to show.. There ain't much new under the sun.
True. Althoug in Nintendo's defense, the motion sensing in the Wiimote is better, and more user friendly since more parties have been developing for it. And in Sony's defense, their controller is for a flagship console name. Also, times change. The motion sensing sidewinder didn't exactly have a lot of support, wheras the PS3 and Wii do.
too bad I came into this so late, but at the 2005 G4ia or is it G-Phoria? I can't remember, but anyway it was some big event where they had a bunch of celebs and such giving awards to games and some live performances, so one of the attendee's was Jenna Haze, a hot porn star, who said she plays final fantasy when they interviewed her, so I think its safe to say it takes all types to enjoy any video game and sterotypes are now defunct.
