Contrast Ratio

    How important is selecting a TV with a high contrast ratio? I'm currently looking into the following TV's but they all have differn't ratios:

    Samsung LN46A500 (46in LCD) - 20000:1
    Samsung LN46A530 (46in LCD) - 20000:1
    Toshiba 46RV530U (46in LCD) - ??????
    Sharp LC52SB55U (52in LCD) - 10000:1
    Samsung LN46A550 (46in LCD) - 30000:1

    Which TV would you recommend?
