hello. my computer in my room is really slow but the computer in my moms rooms is extreamly fast. and i cant move the fast computer in my room and i hate hanging out in my moms room ( weirddddd ). i was wondering is their anyway that i can control a computer with lan? im asking for lan because i wouldent want it over the internet because it would be laggy and stuff. i plan on gameing on this mechine. he has wireless mouse and keyboard so if their is a way to just make his computer use my monitar in my bedroom as a monitar or something? i am running windows xp while the fast one is on vista. Any Help?

Yes there are ways, but it would be pointless, it would be laggy as the data was sent over the network.

As Nick says, you can use a VNC client to control it, but it will be far slower to use than being at the PC itself, and gaming using it will be impossible.

While we can all sympathise with that, it's hardly relevant to this thread...
