    hi,

im not 100% sure if this question belongs hear so I apologise in advance.

I just recently purchased a Tv-in (lifeview DVB-T Duo) card so I can record TV programs etc on my pc which came with a remote control.
I just want to know if i can program the remote control to work with other programs in windows for watching films like PowerDVD and what else is capable.

    Thanks,

    Hi,
A piece of software called girder would do that for you, it supports a hell of a lot of remotes and may just do the trick for you.

    Hope it helps.

    P.S dont think its a freebie :(

You could also try some 3rd party PVR software, such as gbpvr, or mediaportal, that have plugins to use any program on your computer via the remote (and a wireless keyboard in some cases).
