Hi, I was wondering what kind of software is available for controling another PC not on my network? (Not a KVM)I want to be able to see what i would see on the other PC's screen. I hope that makes sence. Thanks
Remote assistance. Comes with Windows. The other computer's user and you will have to allow remote assistance. MSN Messenger will allow you to connect to each other. With remote assistance you will gain control over the other computer as if you was sitting in front of it. Sound like what your looking for? If so, I'll tell you how to turn it on.
I found a link to it and lauched, i see my messenger contacts. Please tell me if this is what im supposed to see. Could i also access anothers computer without them inviting me because i want to lauch a gameserver off my cousin's computer. BTW Where did u get your sig?
You can use VNC if you like. www.realvnc.com You will need to open ports up on the router i think. You definately need to disable windows firewall or allow VNC to bypass the firewall. Works fairly well. ~Rich
