i was wondering if anyone has tried to use the 360 controller on xbmc. im pretty sure it would involve a new keymap or something and a script/driver for it or something. if so its totally worth the 20 bux.

There are old threads on this subject. Here's the summary:

    -Yes, we've all tried.
    -No, it won't work.

It's a foreign piece of hardware, which neither the xbox nor XBMC are designed to work with.

If you're thinking the wired, you would have to run it through a USB adapter, if you're thinking wireless... Even more of a no.

    Still a no. Same reasons.

Personally, I wish it were otherwise, because I would love to be able to just get used to having the shoulder buttons or the black and white buttons; but it looks like I'll be switching back and forth for quite some time.
