I have run into a problem. I have been using DVD Shrink 3.2 to backup my DVD's. When backing up I have been doing the option where the AUDIO and VIDEO folders is written onto my hard drive and then I have been burning those files onto DVD and it worked for about 90% of the 30 DVD's that I have backed up sucessfully. However, what I have found is that these DVD's work fine on my 3 year old APEX DVD player, but not on my newer Sanyo DVD player. Recently I did a backup using DVD Shrink with the "ISO then burn with DVD Decrypter" option and that DVD worked fine on both players. The problem I have now is that I have gone back to school, away from home, and these DVD's that I copied do not play on my dorm Sanyo player. When I went to try to convert these "FILE" mode DVD's using the "ISO" mode I get a DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue Invalid DVD navigation structure The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error Can anyone help me figure out how to convert these?
Ya you don't need any conversion. I think you can get away with copying the DVD previously backed up onto your hard drive. Then burn using Disc at Once (thats the process an iso image is burned in) in Nero to a new DVD. That should work. If not you can also convert to iso image with Nero, I think.
Nero offers a free trial download which expires at the end of ever month. but coincidenly releases a new version trial ever month.
