hi all i wanna get a little more organized...... so ive gone along learning about new things & ive acquired a couple great tools BUT im worried that i might not need all of them so i wanted to ask the community for their opinions as to what is best and if theres any risks of conflict between them. this is what i have : DVDFab 5 DVD Rebuilder FixVTS ImgBurn ConvertXtoDvD DVDDecrypter AutoGK 2.55 ***ALSO - Im considering getting either Fairuse Wizard or Handbrake. will i have anyproblems since i already have the stuff mentioned above?? as always - thanks all.
I use all of the above except for Handbrake. Plus i've only used FairUse a couple of times or so. All the others work great together, i've used them often and for a very long time, a good set of tools
very much appreciated !!! thanks creaky. that gave me some piece of mind. its just that even though some are similar, i see how each is so good in their own ways. so i was worried that i might be over-doing it or just being a hog. (like i know i can be sometimes) thanks again for chiming in!
No worries. There's a lot more tools out there though i myself only use a few more over and above the ones listed. Avidemux is brilliant for merging multi-part AVI's into one (the different types of subtitles can be a challenge, there's various tools for that too). Vobblanker is great to use for cleaning up after DVDFab's less-than-clean rips. It can do far more besides that, but i use it in it's simplest form for cleanups. DVD Flick is an excellent freebie to have 'SUPER' is another handy converter, i mostly only use it to convert WAV files to MP3. That's about it for the tools that i use, i like simple you see
i hear that! not all simple to me yet but im gett'n there. im gonna check out the ones that you mentioned too! i actually have a bunch of questions about subs - since you mentioned them, but i gotta start a new thread for that. (subtitles i think is where i have struggled the most) having some problems installing autogk too right now. was fine on my other pc. Im all over the place with these computers! trying to set myself back up to how i was before on this one. gonna be looking through the site to see if theres a guide for picking the right cpu for a swap, etc.etc.etc.,,..... as always man, thanks for the feedback i take it all in as much as i can.
