I would like to get a converter program that will let me play DVD's in any standalone DVD player after they are converted. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,

DVD Flick is good - so is FAVC.
The both include ImgBurn - to optionally burn the disk - and if you use Verbatim DataLife DVD blanks, then most any standalone should play it.
