Convert avi movie

I have a avi movie i am trying to use Convertx to convert for burning, i am getting an error message that says "one or more files are not supported" so i checked Convertx website and found supported formats and converted the file, ConvertX still wont convert file

 

Open the file in Gspot. It will give you some info about the file,
it's internal structure, what codec it needs, etc,etc.

You will load the file in to Gspot and it will tell you almost everything about your file. What codecs are used as well as framerate and other important information that you may be able to use to determine where your problem is with ConvertX.
