Convert .avi to VCD

    Okay lots of answers to lots of questions, but...can you convert a .avi file to a VCD format?

    Follow the (excellent) article on DVD to VCD Ripping if the file is a DVD2AVI created .avi and TMPGEnc will encode it into MPEG1, then run it to VideoCD PAL Format, which you need Nero (or others) to burn onto CDR. Video CDs need to be MPEG-1 (PAL) in UK. Hope this helps.
