Hi. First of all, I appreciate any help that anyone can give. When I first started burning DVDs, I used the "Make Data DVD" option on Nero StartSmart. I noticed how my DVDs didn't play in other DVD players. It wasn't until after I burned about a good 15 DVDs that I found that little button on the bottom that lets you toggle between more advanced tasks and found the "Burn DVD-Video Files" option. I started burning DVDs with it and still do. The ones I make now seem to work on any DVD player. I compared one of my newly burned DVDs to my old ones. The only difference I found is that my old DVDs have Joliet system files and the new ones that I make now have UDF system files. My question here is...is there any way possible that I can convert those Joliet system files on my older DVDs to UDF system files? (Note: I don't use rewritable blanks.) Again, I appreciate any help.

If the discs will read on your PC, then you should be able to use DVD Shrink (or just Crtl C + Ctrl V, since it will not be encrypted)and copy the movie to your hdd and then burn it again.

I don't see why this wouldn't work, but I've never actually had this problem =)

I know I could burn it again with a rewritable disc, but how would I burn it again with a disc that is NOT rewritable?
