Does anyone have any experience exporting media center files (dvr-ms) to a smaller more useable form? I have tried DVD, SVCD with only a blank screen result VCD works fine but low quality Please, help a newbie, before I spend weeks trying every codec in nero's arsenal

I have had success with two options. convert to max def DVD, it makes a 8gig file, but it is easy to compress with a few other shows with recode. or covert to a max def mp4 (nero digital), a little loss of quality, but it makes to much easier to edit and burn Flavius1
