I love the feature "Convert from LB 4:3 to 16:9". I have a widescreen 50" DLP TV which for some reason disables the "zoom" feature when using component video inputs, so I use DVD Rebuilder to create backups of my non-anamorphic widescreen DVDs that corrects this. This feature works great with movies using the aspect ratios of 1.85:1 or 2.35 : 1. A few days ago I got a movie "Inherit the Wind" that was filmed in the aspect ratio of 1.66 : 1, and the DVD was non-anamorphic. Is there any way to properly re-encode movies with these aspect ratios using DVD-Rebuilder? I tried using that feature, and while the image filled up my TV, I noticed that a lot of the image got cut off in the process. Thanks.
Sorry, if you want to convert it to your facorate ratio, you must cut every picture off and edit them! So your wish is too difficult to become true...I know, it's painful that you can not watching your "Inherit the Wind" on your set.You may ask the DVD-workgroup for some answers. http://www.i'manidiot.com edited by ddp Here they have some developer on line, you may ask them or try their tools.
