i have purchaed the plextor convert x capturing device,and my question is how do i convert the mpeg file that my software genarates ,which by the way im using win-dvd creator,into a iso or bin cue file so it will play in my dvd player,really need some help here on this one mike, mike_way@sbcglobal.net
What are you trying to Make ,A DVD or (S)VCD?? Well either way you Don"t convert the Mpeg to Bin or ISO...If you are Makeing a VCD or SVCD and the Captured Mpeg file you have is VCD or SVCD Compliant then you just use a program that supports Burning VCD or SVCD"s like Nero and Just Burn the Mpeg file to CD-R as a VCD or SVCD File, no need to convert it to Bin or Iso because the Burning Program does that when Burning the disk.... If you are makeing a DVD then you must use a DVD authoring Program to put the Mpeg file on DVD...Files get Authored to DVD not Burned..The DVD Authoring Program will allow you to add menu"s and Chapters and Menu"s to your Project and finally author the File with the Menu"s and Chapters to DVD-R... A very simple DVD authoring Program is "Tmpgenc DVD author" but I prefer "DVDLab" because it makes nicer DVD"s.....Cheers _X_X_X_X_X_[small]It"s better to be Pissed Off than Pissed On!!![/small]
Hey . . . I have a question along the same lines as this one . . . the file i am trying to burn is way under 700mb, (svcd) yet when i put it in nero, with no title screen or anything the total is over 850mb . . . so i want to know if there is any way/program where i can cut the movie files into 2 movies files . . . one right after the other, to burn 2 svcd's instead of one . . . does that make sense?? Yea so im looking to break the movie in half for 2 svcd's instead of one svcd, because one doesnt fit it all . . . thanks guys!! also, if theres anyway for the .cue/.bin files to be made ussing my mpeg, that would be awesome to know as well!!
