Ok, so I thought i could figure it out. I converted my miniDV (from sony handycam) onto computer through Windows Movie Maker. The extension saved as is .mswmm. I cant figure out how to get this on a dvd. I tried decrypting it and using dvdShrink, but duh, not a supported file. Cant send it directly to dvd/cd drive... it looks for a dvd Alhtough, Im thinking its already converted, I just cant get past a single option of recording onto a CD-R. I wouldnt mind, but my movies are longer than 700 mb and not all dvd players will play it! Any suggestions?? ps I have the option of sending it from handycam to dvd, but that means i cant have the "cute" enhanced version i made on computer.
I beleive that file extension is a project file. You will need to load it into Windows Movie Maker and finish the project. You will be able to save it as a wmv file or avi. Then you will be able to convert that file to what ever you want.
It shows its a windows media audio/video file (cant open in wmm unless i change open box to all file extensions). I can open it in windows media, but I cant go through dvd shrink or decrypter go convert to dvd. They're telling me no ISO is found or "Video_TS IFO". (and i thought i had everything figured out!) Does this file have to be decrypted anyway? I thought it should be ready to go.
