Convert To MPEG2 And Get No Sound?

    Hi

    My problem is that everytime I convert a video file into MPEG2 format, the video shows but the is no sound at all. Do I need a codec of some sort for MPEG2 files. This is the first time im converting to MPEG2 so I dont no much about the format.

    What is the initial format that you convert from and what program are you using?

    Im so sorry

    I just realised the speakers were disconnected from the speaker port at the back. How stupid :S
