Greetings, I'd like to convert DVDs to .avi, but it looks like AutoGK only DVDs ripped in IFO mode. Unfortunately, the files are already ripped in File Mode as .vobs and whatnot. Does anyone know of a program that'll read the Video_TS folder (much like Shrink) and turn it into an .avi? Ideally, I'd like to use AutoGK. But if that's not possible, any other Divx/Xvid encoders would do. Thanks much. P.S. If converting a File Mode-ripped DVD with AutoGK is impossible, how about someway to streamline File Mode into IFO mode on the hard drive? If that even makes sense.
Heyas, I stumbled upon a workaround, which I will share with you here for future generations. If you've already ripped a DVD in File Mode, misplaced the original under a pile of dirty laundry and now want to convert those file mode files to an .avi using AutoGK... 1. Use IMGTool Classic to create an image of the Video_TS files. 2. Mount it on a virtual drive (like Alcohol 120% Daemon Tools) 3. Open up DVD Decrypter and re-rip the DVD in IFO mode. Yay!
