I am trying to burn to a dvd. It seems to be converting just fine, but it starts to burn and then when it is almost completed, i get an error message stating that it did not burn successfully. Anyone have any ideas? I am using Memorex. I have been using these DVDs for quite awhile now and never had an issue with them before. This just started happening..
Your choices are: The burning program. The burner. The disks. Turn the burning option off in ConvertX and output to a folder or iso. Download, install, run ImgBurn and either select Write files/folders to disc (that would be the VIDEO_TS folder) or Write image file to disc (the .iso file). Insert a blank disk and click on the 'Device' tab on the right panel and look for 'Supported speeds'. Pick a speed in the middle range and burn the folder or image. If it fails, get some 'Verbatim' brand disks - get ones that say 'AZO' or 'Advanced AZO' on the package, then burn again using ImgBurn. If it works, let ConVertX burn one.
Ok, I don't understand why but I figured it out... my laptop had a setting on it to make the screen black after 10 minutes of no activity... I changed it to an hour and as long as the screen is up, it burns just fine. So I just make sure that the computer don't go to sleep and it is burning just fine... thanks for the help though..
