Hello I am not an expert and sorry if I am in the wrong place but I know how to convert an AVI movie using ConvertXtoDVD and then burn it to a DVD. I now have an MPEG movie and I tried to use the software to burn the movie but when I put the DVD in the DVD player all I see is like a blue screen which says MENU and Play Mode on the Left and Folder on the right. I tried to rename the MPEG file to an AVI and then use my software but that did not help either. I have this movie that I really would like to burn to a DVD but I just do not know how because it is an MPEG. All help is greatly appreciated. Thanks And if you would prefer I post this somewhere else, please let me know.
On the 'Burning' tab of ConvertX, there is an option to delete the output folder. If you uncheck the option, then you can test the output files to see if they play OK on the PC (also, you can opt to not burn the DVD immediately after conversion). Check the files in the folder with the media player.
