I have only converted Divx/Xvid avi's twice to dvd format and burned them, but each time when playing in my dvd player they are choppy. The avi file by itself is perfectly fine, plays through in windows media player just fine, but after the conversion and burning it is unwatchable basically. I have only used the VSO converting program thus far, any suggestions?
Try converting with DVD Flick to see if there is a difference. Remember to set the correct video type (NTSC or PAL) under 'Project Settings'. http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_tools/dvd_flick.cfm
