Hi Can anyone help me? I want to put my .Mov home movie files on a dvd using windows movie maker. I converted them using Any Video Converter. Problem is the image can be seen but the sound that goes along with it can't be heard. So I tried to convert the audio file using Switch Sound and I got nothing, I just figuered maybe the sound was on a different file that also needed to be converted. I also have this problem when using Nero Express 4. Thanks everyone
Which format are you converting to. Are you producing AVI files or converting to DVD and burning a disk to play on a standalone player. Try installing 'VLC' and using that to play the files in preference to Windows Media Player. http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_players/vlc.cfm
Thanks for helping. I converted the files to AVI but what I want to do is be able to watch them on a DVD player on my tv. So now my problem is that the clips will play (including sound) using windows moving maker but when I drag clips down to the timeline in order to make a movie and push play all I get is a black screen. This also happens with Nero. Thanks
