I have converted an mkv. video to avi. format with Super (C), but somehow the converted avi. file, when played, subtitles do not appear, and also, when i played the original file using Super (C), it can't be seen too. I did not wished to extract the subtitles from the video, can I know how am I able to solve this problem or if there is any guide to this, can anyone please help me?

Where do you want to play the AVI file, in a Divx certified stand alone player?
What codec was used to encode the MKV file?(you can find that out by loading the MKV in Gspot).

I don't think Super can use subtitles (unless you use a AviSynth Script).

    Try AlltoAvi :

The AviSynth script you'd write it yourself. Probably would also have to install VobSub first.
