I converted a DivX file with TMPGEnc to MPG and then went to burn it to CD-R but Nero still converted the file to VCD.
Isn't this a waste of time and wouldn't it have been quicker to convert the DivX to VCD with Nero?

it would be faster but Nero encodes are horrible quality and usually mess up the sound too.

if you didn't use the tmpgenc wizard for vcd you should do it that way and if you are [bold]certain[/bold] you did it that way then tell nero not to re-encode and see what happens.
