Does anyone know if there is a device available to connect my Pal camcorder into, which will enable me to playback direct to my NTSC TV?
    Thanks.

I don't know the answer to your question, but in the event that you hadn't thought of this option, here's an alternative. You can get software to convert your PAL video to NTSC format. You could try Blaze Media Pro from www.blazemp.com.

Thanks. Been doing that for a while now. I just want to plug in the camera and watch the TV. Thanks again.

check out newer TV sets, many of them are now capable of playing back PAL and NTSC.
You can also look for hardware at:

Thanks Marcus, I recently bought a new big HDTV and it won't do it. Found some signal coverter boxes on Google for a couple of hundred of bucks that claim perfect conversion but would still like to see the result for myself before I buy. We all know how advertising is these days eh !!
    Thanks again
