    i used smartripper to rip my vob files off the dvd.Is there any way to convert a vob file to avi?

    Yes there are many ways....You might want to actually try "DR.DivX" or "RatDVD" but there are other Programs that can do it but those might be the easiest to use....

    I use ImToo DVD Ripper, do both things, and many more.
