converters?

    sorry but this may not be the best place to post this, but who has a good free software that coverts mp3 to wav i think. basically i got a bunch of songs on a mp3 cd and want to burn them on the computer so i can listen to them without having the cd in the drive. thanx

    Why not just copy the mp3 files to your harddrive and listen to them? There must be a zillion converters out there if you really need one. But, I think (if not mistaken) that converting an mp3 file to wav format results in a much larger file size. Don't bother converting.

    Windows Media Player (and others) all play the mp3 format.

    yes they will play them, but they wont save them on my hard drive, im guessing they need to be wav format to be on the hard drive

    haha nvm that worked just fine, about 170 songs on a cd done in less than 5 minutes :-D
