converting a windows media file

    I am an abslute beginner so please bear with me. I downloaded Fahrenheit 9/11 and it plays on my PC but it won't play on my dvd player. How do I convert it please.

    Its possible but its a little bit of a chore, at least for me. The quickest way i can think of(but i can't promise the quality you may get)is to try something like stoik video converter to change the .wmv file to an .avi. Then i would use virtual dub to frameserve that avi to tmpgenc creating your .mpg(vcd) that u can burn and probably play in your standalone dvd player. Sounds complicated i know but with all the tools its not so bad.
