converting an svcd to vcd using Tmpgenc

    i'm trying to convert an svcd to vcd using Tmpgenc but i get the message unsupported file type. i have the mpeg 2 codec installed an it plays fine medis player. it encodes fine with panasonic mpeg1 encoder
    Can anyone help Thanks in advance

    Theres a couple things, first the svcd did you rip it from a bin file, and if you did, did you use vcdeasy, if you used a program like winiso you probably dont have the riff header.
    Secondly in tmpgenc go to option - enviromental settings - VFAPI plugins and right click on the mpeg-2 video plugin and increase the priority, Tmpgence will sometimes accept some mpeg2 files that it wouldn't at first.

    i used vcdgear to change the cue\bin files to mpeg. if i use vcdeasy would their be a riff header or do you know any other way to change the bin\cue to a mpeg while keeping the riff header . thanks a lot i'll give it a go
