I am presently using dvddecrypter and WinAVI, neither can do all conversions. I seem to need VOB to IMG the most, yet cannot figure out how or with what program. I have searched and found nothing specific on this topic...oh, I need because of regional limitations on my DVD player; dvddecrypter cannot do my VOB files. Any brainiacs please help this novice in-need. Peace!

An img (image) file, is just a compressed bunch of vobs.
You have the vob's and bup's and ifo's from your program, and you need a way to burn them.
You don't need DVD Decrypter for this.
What burning program(s) do you have?
If you must make an .img, then Nero Burning Rom is the program you want.

I have NERO START SMART, but...it cannot change regional codes in movie files, that is why I need something to convert to IMG files so I may burn with dvddecrypter and have success with my sony player.
New problem, is there a program that can convert CDI (cd1,cd2..etc) into a VOB or IMG format. I wish I knew more about this stuff, trying my best to learn on my own, sometimes I have no luck!
Thank you for sharing your intelligence.

    A CD1, CD2, etc. are probably avi's, or otherwise compressed files (zip/rar).
Find out what they really are (try opening one in Gspot, winzip, winrar).

The cdi files were originally unzippedand thus the "cdi" format, I was thinking that this formay was a format like mp4 or the like. I converted the file and it turns out the end of the movie is missing....all in vain.
    thanks for your help.

Any ideas on how to convert any format to img?????

Like I said. Nero will do it.
Just burn to "Hard drive image" instead of a disk.
