I've converted my AVI file to DVD using Avi2DVD & using the HCEnc encoder, all seemed well, it gave me the 2 files that I needed to add to ImgBurn, the VIDEO_TS & the AUDIO_TS files but when it has finished burning and i test it in a DVD player, the sound is out of sinc with the picture, it's not just a second or 2, it's quite a while out, can anyone help me with this or give me any qlues to what I might be doing wrong please? Thanks, Wozza

When you play the output from Avi2DVD (the VIDEO_TS folder) on the pc - is it in sync.

No, its out of sinc if I try to play one of the files in the Avi2dvd_temp folder, If I open the folder then open the DVD folder, ther are 2 more folders which I think its supposed to have, an AUDIO_TS folder which is empty? and a VIDEO _TS folder, in this folder there are 8 files 2 BUP files and 2 IFO files with 1 of each with the file Names VIDEO_TS and VTS_0_10 The other 4 files are DVD files with file names, VTS_01_0 VTS_01_1 VTS_01_2 and VTS_01_3 all of these 4 files play with the sound out of sinc but I have run the original AVI file through Avi2dvd again but used the FreeEnc encoder this time and its still the same with the sound out of sinc, I don't know what it does exactly but i had the Deinterlace box checked, which it did say to do on the tutorial I used and I had the Used Trellis Quant box checked also, the original AVI file plays on the PC perfectly. Thank you attar for your reply & help, Wozza.

If the problem is only with this file, try the likes of FAVC or DVD Flick for the conversion.
Either can generate an optional menu.
