Converting avi to wav

Hi folks,

Can anyone tell me how to convert avi files into a sound file please??? Any suggestions appreciated ;-)

You can extract the sound from the file but you can't convert a movie file into a sound file.

 

How do you extract the sound?

if you are familar with GraphEdit you can do it easy with bulding graph like:
file source->VI Splitter->Audio Decoder->WAV Dest->File writter
Easy, isn't it?
