I am converting CDs (cda) to MP3s in Nero 6. I was able to convert 2 CDs to MP3s, and then on the 3rd CD, I got an error message "Error While Reading. Disk May Be Corrupt". After that, every CD I tried to convert I get the same error message.

I even tried to convert the same CDA files to WMA, WAV, MP4 and those convert with no problem, however, the same files just will not convert to MP3 format.

Has anyone run into this same problem? And if so, how is it fixed? Its almost as if there is a limit on converting CDAs to MP3s.

    Desperately need your help! THANKS!!!!

I wouldn't be supprised! :) Anyway, I wouldn't and don't use Nero for CD-rips. You should use something that will give you better quality rips, like using EAC (Exact Audio Copy) or CDex. They use the LAME MP3 encoder, which is the best MP3 codec to date.

You can get CDex from this site, but you have to look for EAC, because it's been removed due to a law passed on the first of Jan in Finland. These programs work better because they try to fix any errors while ripping, so you can get a decent copy of it.
