converting DivX to DVD format (.vob)

    I would like to know if anyone out there has tried to convert a DivX movie back to DVD format which is .vob
    because in music "mp3" are able to convert back to wave files and vice versa.
    is this possible for DivX back to DVD (.vob) format?

    Yes, possible. It's the same with any AVIs. Encode to mpeg, then author into vobs/ifos using an authoring program.

    could you be a little more specific "jnihil" or can you refer me to a tutorial for the process of converting DivX(which are .avi) to mpeg and the to .vob
