I have used Virtual dub on a number of occasions to convert a DIVX file to AVI for use in DVD2SVCD. With a current file I am having a problem and hope someone can offer a suggestion. I load a DIVX file into Virtual Dub. If I click "play" the file runs fine. (The also run fine on Power DVD) I set VDub for a Direct Stream copy under Video and make similar adjustments for copying under audio. I also scan the file for errors. I then save the file as a new ".avi" and let VDub do its thing. The playback of the created file however is very poor. It is very jerky with starts and skips. (played it back within VDub, media player, and PowerDVD) Never had this before. The ".avi" created was done the same as others I have made with the same settings. Can anyone offer some ideas as to what is going on. Thanks in advance Allan
