converting divz to play in a dvd+r format?

    Whats up-I'm new at this just bought a dell dimension 2100 pentium 4 700 mb ram.......what do I need and how do I convert divx(downloaded) movies to play in a dvd played on a dvd+r....I'm new at this and kinda puter dumb.please be patient, and helpful by any means.....thanks alot.Brian

    Brians, unfortunately no one will give you support for pirated movies or music. That is illegal. This site has many written guides that may assist you backing up your own movies etc.

    how do I "back-up my own" divx movies?...........................any help?
