converting dv to mpeg2 tmpgenc

    I have converted a 1 hour of dv footage from my dv camera using tmpgenc. It took 30 hours at best setting, does anyone know the best way to put this on dvd.
    I have used sonic dvd it but odd things happen (jerky play back and sound probs)

    appreciate anyones help!!
