Converting DVD-R to Avi or whatever else

    All right- I did try to go around the information available but can not find a solution: I have a DVD-R with 2 videos on it. Of course the folders are VIDEO_RM and VIDEO_TS. When I play the files straight from the CD it's all good- but when I try to convert it in whatever way the sound isn't there! I tried number of converting tools already and absolutely nothing is giving me a sound.
    PLEASE ADVISE!!!

    Need more information - what programs are you using to convert the DVD files to AVI.

    There are programs like winAvi and a Program Called "Any Video Converter" These two programs should fix the problems no worries.
