I have some DVD's that I want to sample the audio track from and then use the dialouge to mix into a CD I'll burn.

How can I convert the DVD file into a .mp3 file so that I can easily put it onto a CD? Is there another way to do it?

    Thanks

First you must demux the .AC3 -file (original sound from the VOB's). Tool to do this is DVD2AVI for example.
Then you should install Besweet 1.5b2 (newest version at this moment) and Besweet GUI. Open the extracted .AC3-file to the GUI and check downsample 48 kHz -> 44.100 kHz. Other options should be easy to understand.

Remember if you have surround-sound .AC3-file you should downmix the 5+1 channels as 2 channels. This can also be done in Besweet GUI.
