    Hi,
I just connected my xbox to my pc with no problems but when I transfered a game to my pc I couldn't convert the files to iso so that I can burn with Nero. Any ideas of what I should do.
    I'm using Flashxp.
And tried using isox creator but not sure how to do it.
    Thanks

Have you searched around about this? If you did...I don't believe you. I just posted in someone's topic a few posts down when they wanted to backup their games.
    Go to http://www.craxtion.com
There you will find a program, you will install it. You will then add new network connection to connect to your xbox. then you can rip the game to your computer. Then you can go to create ISO, it will then create an .iso.
Go to google, type in dvd decrypter. Download that, once that is done d/ling, install it. Once its done installing, you can burn the .iso w/ dvd decrypter and the game should work just fine:)

I searched around and asked about this. I can get the files from the xbox onto my pc using Flashfxp. Then I tried using Simplexiso to create iso files so I can burn them with nero. But they are coming up as compressed files with rar. So when I burn them on dvd-r the xbox is saying it's an unknown disc.

Just use craxtion! All you need is craxtion and dvd decrypter! Nothing else! Don't worry about ftp blah! Just get craxtion and dvd decryp and what not. I posted how to do it in one of the other xbox forums here. Just check it out and you will really happy w/ craxtion.

    Hi
Thanks everyone for your help. I got it going and managed to back 1 game and it worked ok. Then a friend convinced me that an Unleashx dash is more user friendly than Evox one and he changed it for me. Now I can't even connect to thexbox with my pc. It was connecting for a while while he was with me but stopped now. It is telling me "connection failed".Any suggestions?

Thanks for trying to help. Found out what was wrong the second time. My friend's Flashfxp ip. settings were for an Xbox connected to a hub with DHCP( or something like that) connection whereas mine is connected directly to a computer via crossover cable. So apparently had to set the connection as STATIC with different ip. addresses. The connection was established after that.
Only one small problem remains. I tried backing up the game Pirates of the Carribean. Everything seemed to work well. That is the transfer of files from D: drive on the Xbox to the computer, then creating xiso files using Cxboxtool and burning it using Nero but when I tried it on the Xbox as soon as it started downloading the screen went white. So don't know what really happened. I will try another game to see what happens, unless someone sees something wrong in how I'm doing it.
    Thank you people

Actaully, I would like to disagree w/ PimpDawg. Softmodding is so EASY. In 30 min, I can mod your xbox, put emulators and around 300 roms on your xbox. So it is extremely easy compared to the alternatives. You just have to know your sources.

You've got to admit though AzidReign, softmodding for beginners is not to easy. But I guess if you have the right tutorials, nothing is to difficult.

Oh, and I could put a chip in a system in around 30 minutues as well, and load on over 4.5GB of stuff ranging from dashboards to emulators in under 15 minutes. So I would have to say that chipping your system is easy.

Ok, softmod and all the ems and roms takes me 30 min max. Yeah, a chip can be that fast, but there is a larger margin of error if you use a chip that needs soldering. My xbox took a few hours w/ my mod chip b/c it was FRAGing the whole time. And yeah, once you have all the right files and tuts, its really easy, it's alot easier than waiting for your mod chip to come in the mail.
