I tried following the guide for the converting process, anyways I get sound but only a green screen. Any ideas? Other ways to do this? I know a decent amount on computers, but new to saving movies and trying to play them on the PS3, so im not afraid to get my hands dirty
I own a PS3 and deal with these issues alot as I am in the process of converting some 1000+ movies to file format to put on HDD's to stream. Are you trying to view the movies via disc? If you are then you can use Format Factory. Some people say that it is not so good but it does everything I want it to do. It has an option for converting files to specific devices (PS3, 360, iPhone, iPod, etc.) so you shouldn't have any issues converting to a format the PS3 will accept. Hope this helps.
