Can someone tell me how I can convert GCM files to an ISO so that I can burn it to a DVD-R. I have been doing searches but my kids keep bugging me to hurry up. Any assistance would be greately appreciated.

You want the quick and easy way?

    Very simple.

All you need to do is rename the .gcm to .iso and your ready to burn the game disc.

I bet you where thinking it would be this long process. Well nope just a rename of the extension and your ready to burn.

1st Edit out the NFO part of your message.

It is packed for torrent use. So you will need to unpack the game with WinRAR.

You will need to download and install WinRAR from the link below...

    http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm

Now choose the first file in numeric order. If dfc-hulk.001 is the first file then you will choose that file. If there is a file dfc-hulk then you will choose that file.

Some torrents only have numbered archives and some start with the title of the file then the rest are numbered files.

    Example...

    dfc-hulk.001
    dfc-hulk.002
    dfc-hulk.003
    dfc-hulk.004

In this case you would choose dfc-hulk.001

    ------------

    dfc-hulk.001
    dfc-hulk.002
    dfc-hulk.003
    dfc-hulk.004
    dfc-hulk

in this case you would choose dfc-hulk
    ------------

After you choose the first file WinRAR then will start now choose to extract the file and WinRAR will then extract all files in the folder making 1 .gcm or .iso file.

If you extract a .gcm file then rename .gcm to .iso to burn.

    Hope I didn't confuse you.

Thanks for that info. The only thing is that these files are un extractable. Normally each file is an icon of little books tied together. When I right mouse click it only gives me the option to compress these files using winrar. When I double click on the file. It takes me to a web site that tells me its a split file.

Sometime this happens with archives. I duno why but every once in a while I will get this as well. Here is a few ways you can get the archive extarcted...

    1st way

Right click on the first RAR file in the list and choose Open With... Then choose WinRAR as the program to use to open the archive.

    2nd Way

Open WinRAR Via the START/PROGRAMS Method.

Now go to File Open Archive...

Now go to the directory that the torrent game RAR's are in...

It should then let you extract using WinRAR.
