i have read a bit into converting this format into DVD, i am using the CoreAAC and CoreAVC codecs. i have used ConvertXtoDVD AVI2DVD TMPGenc And a few others all with the same problem. Converting Resident Evil Extinction, the first 10 mins or so seems really choppy but after that it runs smoothly. the MKV runs perfectly through mpc but once converted its jumpy at the beginning. My PC is more than capable of converting HD content. Asus P5W DH Deluxe Core2Duo - 3.2Ghz Corsair Dominator XMS2 2gb PC2-6400 Ram ATI Radeon X1950XT Anyone Have any Ideas As to what may be causing this or how to solve it?
I just converted an .mkv file today to burn to DVD (Thir13en Ghosts Blu-Ray rip). I was quite impressed with the results from DVD Flick. What a slick application... Also looks like it can convert PAL to NTSC and vice-versa. Results were pretty damn good, but the conversion process itself takes an awful long time. Nonetheless, it's a great app which I'll continue to use.
