I just bought a digital camera, the Casio Exilim EX-Z77 which takes video as well as pictures. The video's are saved as MOV files and I've tried several different freeware programs to try and comvert the files to AVI or MPEG's, or something I can use with Windows Movie Maker but some have crappy quality, some convert the video OK but I have no sound, does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks
Hi, VSO ConvertXtoDVD (It's not free) but you can try it in demo mode. Try v3.00 ßeta RC3 here: http://www.vso-software.fr/download_product_direct.php?product=cx3 RC4 will be made available to public soon, and VSO are currently working on the Official v3.00 to come out pretty soon also ! Good Luck !
I don't think he wants to create a DVD. If that was the case, the free DVD Flick would also work. He needs to convert to a format that he can use in Windows Movie Maker, so he can edit the video. At least that was what I understood. Did you try this one (Pazera freeware): http://www.freedownloadmanager.org/downloads/Pazera_Free_MOV_to_AVI_Converter_52560_p/
