I'd be grateful if anyone could give me some advice on this software. I just bought it hoping to convert mpeg and avi movies into dvd format to play on my dvd player. After I populate the media box with my movies, and click on encode dvd, I get this message ' Audio stream not detected'. However under audio format it says PCM. Does this mean no sound, or lapses in sound or what? Can anyone shed some light on this. It still goes on to encode the files. I'm writing this while its encoding. I might be wasting my time!

It means DVDSanta is not picking up the audio stream of the videos. The resulting dvd files would thus have no sound. This happens if you don't have the necessary codecs, or if DVDSanta is not integrating well with the codecs. If you're sure you have all the needed codecs, then you may try encode the videos with some other programs (e.g. VSO DivxToDVD):

    Good luck!
