this question probably gets asked a million times but what is the best program to convert mpg files to avi. i have been using winavi but i can only get it to play as a little sqaure in the centre of the screen. i have been trying to change it in the advanced menu but it does not give me the same video codecs to choose from that it uses on the drop down presets (hdxvid)
