converting NTSC vhs to DVD

    Hi all,

    I have numerous NTSC video tapes that i would like to convert to DVD.

    My question is this; what hardware do i need in the form of cards(video capture) and software to capture and convert to DVD. Does anyone know what connectors i should look for when purchasing a card and any advice on cheapest good quality cards would be appreciated.

    Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, but this is my first time here.
